- To date, there have been students at MCS with influenza-like symptom=
s.
These children have been kept at home until they are completely free=
of
all symptoms.
- If your child has flu-like symptoms, such as fever greater than 100,=
a
sore throat, cough, nasal congestion, difficulty breathing, muscle a=
ches
and/or fatigue, please keep him/her at home until they have been fre=
e of
a fever for 24 hours without

- the assistance of fever-reducing medications such as Tylenol, Motri=
n,
Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen.
- We cannot stress enough the importance of frequent hand washing with
soap and warm water and covering the mouth when coughing or sneezing=

- When we are notified of the availability of H1N1 vaccine, information
packets will be mailed to every parent of District students.

that we are unable to transport, supervise, and educate our students.
Should there be a need to close school, we will follow our standard
school closing procedures (WPTZ, Vermont Broadcasting, and our websi=
