Unscheduled School closings
In the event of an unscheduled school closing, the community will be alerted via WPTZ TV, WCAX TV, and WOKO radio. Beginning in September 2010, Moriah's own Channel 17 will also list school delays and closings moments after they are decided upon. Should there be an unscheduled early release, parents will be notified via the Emergency Notification System, which is an automated calling system. Phone numbers that are provided to the school with each student are used for the database in the ENS.For the record, here are the dates MCS has been closed or delayed in the 2009-2010 school year:
