Sight Words	

	Sight words are words that are recognized at sight, that is 

	without using any word-attack skills.  A good sight word vocabulary 

	is a necessary and valuable component for success in reading.  

	These words can be taught with flash cards, through independent

	 reading or in games like Bingo or Concentration, and in many other ways.
