Dear Residents of the Moriah School District:
On December 17, 2019, between the hours of 1pm and 8pm, the Moriah Central School District will be asking residents to vote on a $14.9 million proposed building project. The building project has been developed through the help of various groups that include community members, Board of Education members, staff and students and our architectural team. Based on the suggestions from these groups the District is presenting a project that emphasizes major safety upgrades, plumbing and heating upgrades, changes to the current bus garage infrastructure and fire alarm system, new classroom floors, the addition of a track and turf soccer field, just to name a few of the highlighted areas.
Outlined in the newsletter you will find explanations of the funding process along with current photos of existing infrastructural needs
and ballot information.
